They could sense when they had to leave, and seemed certain of which way to go... so I strongly suspect they know. Others have said they can share much older memories, so they might receive them from past generations.

[She visibly stiffens at the suggestion, though, her eyes widening.] You think there could be more taken? I hope not, we don't even- [A sigh as her voice shakes.] Y-you're right... we haven't a clue where to start, let alone how to get there. We're useless here.

[Luz didn't mind: the finger dragon concept was bound to sound weird, and had certainly been for HER, having never seen one before].

Dragons are that mysterious and intuitive? That's good, though now that makes me even more bothered that there's one that needs our help.
