"None of us seem to. Just a memory of what we wished for.
Which can only mean he's taking advantage of us in our dream states to do what he wants..." She pauses, still second-guessing if this is truly Mozenrath. "...and, according to your presence, can do it in his own dream state."
[She doesn't like the different stories and suspects there's an outside influence at play. But before she can give her opinion, the gelfling is threatened again.]
Azula!
[She steps between them, putting a hand out in case she needs to prevent something worse.]
I believe you; you wouldn't attack someone if you didn't have reason to feel threatened. But it's obvious he doesn't remember anything, so what good would hurting him do?
[... That seems to shock her so much that she drops the gelfling entirely; he immediately scrambles away before she can change her mind, but she's now fully focused on Jasmine.]
What good does coddling a would-be assassin do? It doesn't matter if he remembered it or not- the next one who tried would remember what happened to the last, and might think twice.
[She widens her stance only ever so slightly, just so the gelfling has a better chance to escape. Not that she thought Azula would have actually killed him, but with her reaction right now, it's best not to take that chance.]
Think what? If something was controlling their mind, what would thinking do? It's not "coddling a would-be assassin", it's directing your anger at the real assassin instead of their pawn!
[Her own stance becomes hostile as well- not tensing up, but loosening, as if she's expecting violence and is coiling to pounce. In defiance of this relaxed stance, her voice becomes increasingly shrill and loud as she speaks.]
All we can access are his footsoldiers, who remain what they always have been to us- a direct threat on his behalf- in no small part because weaklings like you refuse to acknowledge that they are the enemy!
She can't pinpoint what. Corrin is a constant in her life, especially now that they're neighbours... of kingdoms, right?
No, they're roommates, they share a cottage...
The next time she looks up at the fellow princess, she spots the tear and her heart sinks. Her instinct was right: this isn't real. Just a dream... just what Corrin wants. To feel less...
"Oh, Corrin..."
Jasmine puts her free hand against her cheek, to carefully wipe the tear away - the tear must be real, right? - before resting it on her shoulder.
Corrin lets Jasmine brush the very real tear away, trying to keep her composure. She rests her head against Jasmine's in turn, grateful for the closeness of someone real.
"It would have been nice, wouldn't it?" She asks after a moment. "If it were all like this."
Corrin returns the hug gratefully. The dream is already turning fuzzy and indistinct around them. The sounds of the party grow more and more muffled and distant.
"I know. Thank you, Jasmine." She sighs for a long moment. They're the only ones left now.
[She realises such an answer isn't very assuring, so she carefully puts a hand on Anna's shoulder if allowed.]
And that's right; even people you know won't always come from the same time. When my fiancé arrived, four months had already past for him since I did, even though I'd only been here for two.
[The hand is allowed! She's feeling alone and, quite frankly, overwhelmed, so she needs all the grounding she can get.]
So he... He was from your future? He lived through things that you hadn't lived through yourself, but are supposed to have lived through? Is that really possible?
Apparently, yes. He... lived through our wedding plans, so he told me.
[And they still haven't- no, not the point.]
The strangest thing is that I was still there with him for those months, even while I was here. I had never really left. It's like we're all in one giant dream, but none of us are truly asleep.
[Anna stops breathing for a few seconds, raising her left hand to her chest. Her own engagement ring is likely quite visible from this angle. If Kristoff lived through their wedding and she'd have no memory of it herself... She wouldn't be able to stand it. Her memories have been messed with quite enough already.]
Oh... That's... really confusing. And kind of sad. You're supposed to live through your wedding together, that's the point. Even if you were technically there, it... It isn't the you who's here right now, is it? But he's the him who's here right now. Married.
Oh... no, it was just the wedding plans. He arrived the morning it was supposed to happen. So, he just knows better what it was going to look like. [And is probably less patient about having to wait.] I agree, I have no idea how I would have felt if he...
[That's when she notices Anna's reaction, and the prominent ring on her finger.]
[Experiencing just the planning of the wedding without the other (sort of) is slightly better, but... It still doesn't feel right to her. She bites down on her bottom lip for a second, averting her gaze.]
I'm alright. I was just... thinking about my own fiance, that's all. If he were here and he were older, and more experienced, I'd... [She trails off, unsure how to put it into words.] Well. You understand.
Della- the boys' mother! Oh, Webby will be so delighted to have a friend from home.
[She's presuming the term "aunt" is adoptive, since Webby has never implied that Louie and the rest are blood relatives. But honestly, anyone who isn't Scrooge is plenty good enough for her, which means Della's getting offered a hug from a weird, fleshy human lady.]

[Jasmine levels her eyes and glances at the hammer in question, then at the apparently-terrified gelfling as she looks more and more puzzled.
To the gelfling, she says:] Did you attack her? And if so, why?

"I-I didn't do anything! One minute I was repairing a house, and the next she was attacking me!"]
Lying vermin!
[She hoists the gelfling violently into the air, snarling with rage, and he whimpers and strains against her hand again.]
